The BEST homemade raw vegan snickers bars.
They taste just like the real thing! Super easy to make, sugar free, vegan and only a few nourishing ingredients! These homemade snickers are the best cure for any sweet tooth without all the sugar. Also perfect for a healthified Halloween candy!
These snickers use minimal ingredients and they are SO easy to make. Don’t let them fool you, they’re actually super easy to whip up and clean up! They’re also made completely plant based unlike the real snickers! My favorite part about these (besides the chocolate or course) is the dates. They give the sweetest caramel flavor that is just to die for. When you sink your teeth into these, you’ll know what I’m talking about! Check out the recipe below!

INGREDIENTS:
Nougat Layer:
3 tbsp coconut flour (I use @bobsredmill)
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
Caramel Layer:
1 cup pitted dates, soaked
1 tbsp almond butter
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 tbsp melted coconut oil
1-2 tbsp water as needed
Topping:
Crushed peanuts
Melted Chocolate
Sea Salt
DIRECTIONS:
Line a bread pan with parchment paper.
In a medium sized bowl make the bottom layer and press into the pan until even.
Begin to make the caramel layer by adding all ingredients to a food processor (except water)
Process until there is a gooey caramel like constancy. May need to scrape down sides and add water to get a thinner consistency.
Add the caramel layer to the pan and top with peanuts and freeze until set.
Once set, remove from freezer and cut into pieces.
Then dip with 2 @lilys_sweets melted dark sea salt chocolate bars (melt by adding 1/2 tbsp coconut oil to a bowl with chocolate and microwave stirring ocassionally)
Top with sea salt and place in fridge until chocolate has hardened.
I dipped some of mine in chocolate and topped the others. Both ways turned out 🔥🔥🔥

I hope you love these as much as I do! They are always a hit here and don't usually last longer than 1-2 days!
