Now, speaking of that moon phase display, Lange did something special for this limited edition. The moon phase disc is made of link solid white gold that has a matte finish for the sky with hand-engraved stars for added dimension. The moons are polished domes that are then set into that disc, link which makes for a really rich look. This is a numbered edition of 25 watches, which link would set the standard for this anniversary collection.

On Sunday, I took a look at 24 of the lots link I found most compelling at the two different Phillips auctions taking place, and now we'll be taking a look at link a few of the top lots and highlights from the remaining three link auctions on the calendar.

Yesterday the watch gods (who I so often cite, and are yet to deliver me a yellow gold 37mm Sub!!) delivered me a yellow gold dive watch in a size that wasn't perfect but was pretty damn close. I hesitated at first. A green dial and bezel? That won't work. To be clear, link the green doesn't work for me when the watch is link on a strap. But if you put her on an all gold 3-link bracelet (with a T-fit clasp) then you're making real moves link in the precious metal sports watch category.

In any event, I dig the 39mm just link as much because it's a different take link on a similar aesthetic. Also, 39mm is not large by any horological metric that I'm aware of. Even at 13.75mm in thickness, link it's not like the watch is a chonker (real word? You tell me).
