You can sub the ingredients in this recipe for what you have available but I highly recommend these products. They are quality and you can taste the difference with the honey and cacao powder. You always want to go for RAW honey. If its not raw normally it has been heated and all the thing that make honey so great are killed during the process :(.
Karen Berrios Cacao powder if the purest I've found. Her brand is certified vegan and sourced directly from Peru where the most quality superfoods are found.
The importance of cacao vs cocoa is similar to honey.
Cacao is in its raw form and when consuming you'll be getting all the amazing benegits of cacao powder like, essential minerals, antioxiendts, mood enhancement, skin health, aid in weight loss. On the other hand, cocoa powder is processed and heated, stripping most of the beneficial properties (minerals, vitamins and antioxidants) leaving sugar, hydrogenated inflammatory oils and no nutrient benefit behind.
